Fuel injected 3.8 liter V6 swap contained by precipitate 90s unpunctually 80s oldsmobile?

Any tips? I'm taking the new engine out of a wrecked motor and putting it in a nice coup¨¦ with doomed to failure engine. I notice a few things different, resembling the lacation of things under the hood, but could I get it work since these cars are not the same year? I know the transmissions are alike and all the pulleys on the front are duplicate. Has anyone done this? I think I can repeat anything and transfer other parts to seize it to work. I just want to be sure and would appreciate any tips from someone who may enjoy done it or knows roughly speaking those 3.8s. Thank you.
I should add that these cars are both sedans. One is a regency and the other a royale brougham.

Answers:    if you own both cars you,ll be fine with it,i expect the computer will be a little different and also some of the sensors also,we done an elder model swap like this but we have both cars, both came from a insurance company, most of the things swapped out really in good health, but if memory serves me well it wouldn't start until we changed one element of the wiring harness, and also the computer.when it started it run real rough, and we thought we have did something wrong, but in a few minutes it cleared up and run really good,we wound up have about 800 bucks surrounded by the car when done, that's counting both cars too, which wasn't desperate, good luck on it,steal your time you,ll get it within their and running.

Dune Buggy question....?

I believe you should be fine as long as the pulleys in the front of the engine are alike.
