Fuel injector leak?

I recently changed an intake various in my 97 ford crown vic because it come with a defective intake. While putting a fuel injector back contained by the rail (which be taken out to make room for the removal of the intake) i notice that the o ring was a bit stretched and a bit of it be clipped off while putting it contained by, I already knew that it would most probable leak. it is leak. Now my engine make a extremely load and consistent ping noice, and it is idle low I am assuming that this is cus one of the cilinders is running dry and all i am audible range is metal bouncing up and down. And for the idling low i am assuming that this is also due to a famine of fuel pressure because of the leak. Would somebody detail my if my assumptions are correct, and if not what else it would be.

I'm want to buy a used saloon...

Answers:    The ping hubbub could be just that. Low fuel pressure. the O-Ring should enjoy been replaced when you notice it. It is not a hard commission but I think you should do adjectives 8 just to be out of danger. I have found that a intensely light coat of cooking grease on the rings will let the fuel guardrail slide over the rings without wreckage.

What is the best process to catch...

yeah thats pretty much right, just redeploy the o ring and you should be good
