Hello... I bought a 91 Ciera 3300 V6 Sedan for cheap since the fuel pump was shot.. I get another but I grabbed the pump for the Wagon model. My engine is in a minute running really rough and running rich.. My question is, What *if any* are the differences within pressure for the fuel pump between the Sedan and Wagon Models of the Ciera's? I mean is the articulated vehicle a higher pressure? I know in attendance are physically different but it did fit and run my vehichle but Im having a roughness. Im a moment ago curious about the difference surrounded by pump pressures if theres any. Thank you for any replies
Answers: I would replace it with the correct pump, I ponder on some of these cars that the fuel pressure regulator is built into the pump and others it is on the fuel rail surrounded by the engine compartment.
fuel pressure regulator or the coolant temp sensor is not doing its job -both pumps take same pressure
