This is the second time im asking this question. I think I must be mentally challenge or something.
Im trying to get my car to launch from a complete stop. The point is I cant do it.
The last answers I got said to:
Sink the clutch
Put motor in first gear
Rev engine
Then let stale
Tried, didn't work. I know im doing something wrong.
Do you just lift your foot sour clutch?
Or, Do you let it out slowly? Like when your doing a regular start?
How high do you rev the engine?
Its an 03 hyundai tiburon. (no, not deeply of horses :( ... )
If you're trying to spin the tires, try around 4k rpms or so. As you're coming out of the clutch give it some more gas. If you can't receive a tire no matter what, try putting the front tires in some river (a puddle or something)...that should help them get them started.
no
push the clutch contained by and put it in first gear and rev the motor to 4,000 RPM and then consent to the clutch out fast all the style and then you will launch.

The most you are going to be able to receive out of a front wheel drive car is conceivably, i repeat maybe, a little reins spinning. Thats it. You and you are going to need a lot more torque and hp to procure much more than that. But what they told you to do is right. Rev the engine and and release the clutch. Do not let off slowly, of late let it go. And if you are trying to do it similar to they do in movies where you see the vertebrae wheels slide a little to one side, it's merely not going to happen. It is fake. Sorry dude, but if you want indisputable launch you need a rear gearstick drive car. Then you can lift the front wheel of the ground.

"Do your burnout, on your first run, careful not to produce too much smoke, as this is your compute of the chemical composition of your tires, you want to burn for maybe 3 seconds or for a while more, just to get the tires sticky, but not liquidate, if you go from ice cold tires to juice rubber, you'll get no traction.on your second run burn them a little more, 4 second i want to say, this will produce optimal temp for adhesion..on your third run burnout considerably less, as you dont want to verbs the composittion you've established, so two seconds and NO handbrake for the third burn, just pass past the line if you hold to, reverse and watch the starter to stage you correctly, make sure you dont botch your stage because your tires are as sticky as ever and you dont want them cooling rotten.
on the line wait for your second stagelight to shine..you'll see the tree drop from one wan to three to green, in between three yellow and green is where on earth you want to start off your clutch, as it takes around half a second for you body to register whats going on, you should catch the green simply as it comes on.be careful as not to get bouncy, or you'll redlight.i suggest taking four deep breaths when your first stagelight shines, this will calm your nerves considerably... dont be afraid to redlight one or two runs, to bring used to the light time, its okay, you can do it...
ok now the launch itself isn't adjectives that complicated, but it takes patience...switch your throttle to 2500 RPM at the stage and when the time comes, let the clutch out, DO NOT DROP THE HAMMER, as you will get joystick hop and crappy 60 ft's, when you let your clutch out, do not be afraid to burn some carbide off it, permit off slowly, but not too slow as to lose RPMS, when your foot reaches the grab-point of the clutch, hastily let off your foot and shift basically prior to your redline, thats first gear, second gear comes on strong in hyundais, so when it ends you'll need to be incredibly quick with your clutch foot to synch the gear correctly near third, which is an imports favorite, keep your throttle hammer throughout your run, do not let off, its ok to burn some clutch here its individual a quarter mile, ok now thirds approching the red, keep it floored, and stroke your clutch to fourth you'll only use fourth for a very short time, don't consent to off your throttle till you see X's or checkers, then permit off and brake, pick up your slip and DO NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. practice your launch religiously, and get apt.traffic lights help your timing, but watch for the man, and remember, you're not john force, practice make perfect..between runs wait for a while next to your hood up and fire up again when your motor is at the lower quarter of your operating temp, NOT ICE COLD.
have fun and practice practice PRACTICE, dammit!"

Answers: It's not going to happen with your engine and drive train. You might, perchance get a small squeak from your drive tire when you "Launch". If you want to "launch" either shift spend about 7-8k on upgrading your engine and drive train, or buy a mid size pickup like a Ranger, S10 and drop a V8 into it. You don't even hold to really spend a ton on the motor. The power alone with the light shipment of the vehicle will make you "launch"
no well first of all its a hyundai i dont resembling hyundais and if you keep doing this you are going to wear out the clutch tranny and axles very swift
press the clutch rev it up and ket off the clutch quick
it probably isnt working becausxe your clucth probably slips or your tires slip if you want to do this repeatedly get a performance clutch and better axles
push the clutch contained by and put it in first gear and rev the motor to 4,000 RPM and then consent to the clutch out fast all the style and then you will launch.
thx 4 the pts
