I have an 89 GMC and the wipers don't work. I've already checked the fuses, they're fine. Anything else I can try?
God Bless you, and nice truck!!
check to see if you have power at the wiper motor, if you do then the wiper motor is desperate.
You probably necessitate a new wiper delay circuit board.
Not merely does it control the delay of the wipers but if it is bad it will not allow them to work at adjectives.

Answers: One of my customers recently have the same problem on his '91 S-10, and it was a moment ago the chassis ground for the wiper motor. It's not very solid, and happens efficiently from corrosion. Very easy to check too. Just run a jumper flex from the metal part of the case to a certain good ground. (battery negative, or something you've checked for ground beside a test light) If it starts to work, all you obligation to do is take out the mounting bolts and clean them up, along near the little brass tab that one of these bolts clamp down on.
Of course if you just go ahead and replace the motor, it will start working anyway, because you've fixed the ground by chance. But this way costs nothing except 5 minutes of your time if that's what the problem is. ;-)

Car won't turn over but clicks once?
Sounds like a short; unless you have hours,i'd lug it to an "auto electrical" shop. Call around for the lowest hourly rateGod Bless you, and nice truck!!
