i have a 1998 ford ranger 5 speed i enjoy a new clutch preshure plate throwout pose slave and master celinder instaled all surrounded by a years time but it is very complex to git in gear i can bleed it and it will work great for a year thene back to not going contained by gear again just get it back from the mechanic that doest know anything because it a short time ago cost me five houndred dollars and nothing is still working right
Answers: There have been particular issues in the proper course to bleed a Ford system and air continuing to migrate through the system. Try:
1. Check for nouns in the clutch hydraulic system and bleed the system.
2. Disconnect the coupling at the nouns with Clutch Coupling Tool T88T-70522-A by sliding the white plastic sleeve toward the clutch slave cylinder while applying a slight tug on the clutch tube.
3. Clean dirt and grease from around the reservoir panama.
4. Remove cap and diaphragm and stuff reservoir to the step with Ford High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AA or DOT 3 equivalent fluid seminar Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A. By hand, apply 22-33 kg (10-15 lbs.) to clutch pedal.
5. Using a small screwdriver, depress the internal machine of the male coupling to unequivocal the valve. While continuing to hold the spigot open, slowly depress the clutch pedal to the floor and hold.
6. Remove the screwdriver from the coupling, closing the spigot. Release the clutch pedal.
NOTE: The reservoir must be kept full at all times to ensure in that will be no additional introduction of nouns into the system. Refill reservoir.
7. Repeat bleed procedure.
8. Close reservoir. Reconnect the coupling to the clutch slave cylinder. Check that the connection is immobilize by applying a slight tug to the clutch tube.
9. Stroke the clutch pedal as rapidly as possible for five to ten strokes. Wait one to three minutes.
10. Repeat bleed procedure.
11. Loosen bleed screw (located within the slave cylinder body next to the inlet connection). Depress and hold clutch pedal while tightening bleed screw 3-5 Nm (27-44 lb-in). Refill the reservoir.
The hydraulic system should very soon be fully bled and should properly release the clutch.
Or: To purge the air out of the clutch master cylinder, unbolt it from the firewall, unhook the clutch pedal linkage and hold the master cylinder supply hose complex than the push rod end of the master cylinder. This moves the atmosphere out the clutch master cylinder and into the reservoir. No clutch master cylinder actuation is required to move this air.
likelihood are you still have nouns in the system. A lot of the time when these mechanics bleed the system they pretty much bleed them close to brakes. My suggestion to you is raise the front of the truck up on an incline and you and a friend bleed it. This should fic your problem. The incline help force all the upper air out
