if you have a spare contained by the car at the time of the MOT it is a testable item so has to be in safe hands and road legal, hower you are not required to carry a spare reins so if it is not in the car it cannot be tested.
so basicaly depart it at home.

as for the car not being used you will probably own a layer of rust on your brake disks making them ineficient so i suggest taking the long way around to the mot and braking kindly more often in charge that this rust layer can be worn away by your brake pads.

Answers:    You don't hold to have a spare wheel, you lately have to ensure that if you do it is legal

the spare wheel/tyre IS NOT part of the MOT at adjectives, so regardless of whether it's there or not it isn't checked
As far as the spare is concerned, there is not requirement to hold a spare wheel for the MOT test. My suggestion would be to carry a small car tyre compressor and tyre weld surrounded by the boot.
If the car has stood for nearly a year, the typical problems you will acquire relate to the fuel (Gone off), battery (Not holding charge), electrics (Corrosion on the connectors), brakes (Rusted on or off), check all these as resourcefully as the condition of the tyre as they can crack on the sides.
Ja.
I don't think AnnieAus is quite right within. The car does not have to hold a spare tyre, but if it does have one, it is a testable item and has to be permissible and secure. So putting it in the posterior seat would get the saloon failed, unless you strap it down. Leave it at home.

What's wrong near my saloon?

You don't enjoy to have a spare wheel.

Some brand modern cars are sold with just a can of Tyre Weld or similar, usually to liberate space or weight.
