Head gasket or cracked block?

99 GMC Yukon 5.7L V8. I had coolant surrounded by my oil and figure I must have a blown skipper gasket. I drained the oil (and coolant) out of the grease pan and next noticed the radiator be even more empty. So beside the oil drain plug out, the engine cold and not running, I full up the radiator up with sea and 30 seconds after that it starts dripping out of the oil drain. I other thought that a blown head gasket would requirement the engine running and coolant pressure built up before it leak. So does this mean I own a cracked block?

Anyone know anything going on for cars?

Answers:    its sounds like you enjoy got a cracked block. Not to nouns gross, but the easiest way to find out is, to check the grease, if it looks like sperm, its a cracked block. Another process is to start it up if it blows out white smoke, it means theres hose down in the grease. But you might want to also check the freeze plugs on the sides of the engine. That problem was enormously common on Hummers, and they are made by GM a moment ago like the GMC. If it is the problem, its abundantly of work, and you wont be able to replace them next to out pulling the engine. But the freeze plugs are only going on for .98 cents a piece. You will be paying mostly for the labor of pulling the engine.

Hope this helps.

How can I transmit if it is...

its possible but you want to remove the head to see if it is a gasket or not. best done by a mechanic
