My defroster wasn't working when I drove to work this morning.
I ran it for a while and afterwards gave up. When I get to work I realized that a significant puddle had formed beneath my feet (driver's side floor). The pussle is hose down for sure (not coolant) is my car ok to drive? Is it going to overheat?
The car's a 96' VW cabrio.
Answers: Sounds approaching the pan below the evaporator coil have the drain plugged.
The car WILL over warmness and you will swell the heads until the gasket is ruined. thus cause the car to percolate water and antifreeze into your grease and running thru your engine washing away the lubrication on your cylinder walls and sour your bearings and afterwards your engine will just confiscate and now your stuck.
Sorry for the trueness check. But you need to bring it looked at before it cause 1000s to fix.
