It's been snowing & I enjoy not started the card for a couple of days. When I tried it was unmoving, tottaly dead, I tried to bumb start it down the drive but that did not work & a skip start did not work either BUT after a dutiful hard push down the road it did bump start & I get to work perfectly fine (had be running about 30 minutes) but when I get to work I turned it off later tried to re-start it right away & it was motionless again.
Would this be an issue with:
Battery
Starter
Alternator
Also, anyknow know if I can turn the knob on & off to procure the diagnostics codes like some other cars own? if so how do I do it & where can bring a list of the codes online?
Answers: Sounds approaching a battery issue to me. If you can gain it running again, go to an Auto Part store similar to Advance or O'Reilly Auto Parts and have the mobile checked to be sure. They will do this for free as well as check your starter and alternator while its still surrounded by the car. I would budge prepared to purchase a new mobile. The Auto Parts place will even install it for you.
Diagnostic codes can also be read for you at Advance Auto Parts. An OBD II code reader can be purchased there as resourcefully. They are priced from about $40.00 up to $200.00. The more you spend the more complex they come but they all do one point...read codes.
Go out and purchase a new battery-operated. Get one that will stand up to the cold weather in your nouns. This will need to be done formerly you can get any codes. Also capture the alternator checked.
