99 ford expedition transmission?
hi, my mom bought a 1999 ford expedition 134k miles from a auction for $1800 and she had to replace the engine near one that had 60 miles on it for $ $1400 now the mechanic is describing her she has to buy a new tranmission,, a full one!! which is like another $1200 maybe more,, its a 1999 silver 4 door v8 engline 3rd row chairs,, no leather seats,, if my mother gets a nouns how much do you think the car will shift for? and can you please give me some places online where i can buy a nouns! al our money went to this crappy car!!
thats why you stay away from auctions some of the biggest peices of crap are found within anyway if you are only trying to get the tranny fix to vend it then try a junkyard one for about 600 it could be smaller number or a little more you maybe competent to get between 3 and 4k for it try junkyards online to find the transmission or a junkyard contained by your city

Answers: I'de be carefull near this mechanic, is there a reason you stipulation a new tranny? Why can't you have the matured one rebuilt? I would just discharge the guy and maybe bring it to a shop that specializes in transmissions, or ask him exactly what's wrong next to the tranny, then call tranny shops and ask how much to fix!
