Help ~ Power steering Belt?

Is there usually a power steering belt tensioner? My car is a 1996 Acura TL 2.5 and I am have trouble finding a way to put the belt on and I can't find the tensioner. So just wondering if in that is a way without a tensioner?

dont know the setup on your car but most are one and the same...some are a spring loaded pully [may not even look like a tentioner],others adjust using the altanator or power stearing pump itself...if its spring loaded once you cut off the elderly belt you will see which pully is the tentioner..

Answers:    There will be a tensioner. It may be the pump that moves or the extra pulley which can own a bracket that moves or a pulley bolt in the center of the pulley that you loosen and will move. Most Japanese cars have a tautness bolt so you don't have to pry on the pulley.
