High Comression Pistons?

What is the difference between high compression pistons and common pistons other than superior compression??

By difference i mean design difference are sophisticated compression pistons have a bigger piston body or what?

PLEASE DONT SAY HIGHER COMPRESSION BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS HIGHER COMPRESSION

I want to deal in my indica...

Answers:    Exactly what Dana said. As next to older Oldsmobile engines, the simply way they changed the compression ratio on their engines be to change the pistons. Most elder low compression pistons have a philosophical dish in the top of the piston, such as 40cc. A high compression piston will have smaller quantity of a dish or can even have a flat top, flat top near valve reliefs, or a domed piston. In adjectives of these cases, the idea is to make smaller the volume of the combustion chamber. The lower the volume for compression, the higher the combustion ration is. Other designs can also be implement into the piston to raise the compression ratio such as a lower piston pin location. Lowering the pin location on a custom piston will move the piston superior up in the cylinder and move it closer to the combustion chamber.

Tires mounted on backwards?

A low compression piston can be dished out on top to allow for a larger space for the compressed nouns. A high compression piston may be raise on top and the raised nouns takes up space and make a smaller area for the atmosphere which make difficult compression.
