Answers: If you niggardly it smells like sulfur consequently you probably have a catalytic converter thats is plugged. Replacing purely the cat won't fix the problem though, it went bleak because of another problem. You most likely own a rich mixture caused by coolant temp sensor or oxygen sensor dumping too much fuel. Is the check engine reading light on? Have you checked for stored codes?
