Should I buy lately one tire to replace it, or should I buy two tires - or all four?
Someone told me once to buy tires surrounded by pairs. Is that true?
How reliable are tire patches?
Answers: Most punctures can be repaired. We average roughly speaking a dozen repairs a day at my shop. No big operation.
If it can not be repaired, all four tires clash and are less than 25% worn you can win away with replacing basically one with a congruent tire. If not, I would recommend buying at least two tires so that you own tires of matching ceremonial (same amount of wear and traction) on each axle. Mismatched tires can motive drivability issues and make proper tire continuation more difficult.
If your vehicle is AWD you may need to buy adjectives four. AWD vehicles can be completely finicky about what tires are on them.
If your tires are down to 5/32" tread or smaller quantity I would suggest it might be time to replace all four.
