Answers: For an easy and inexpensive opening to remove the check engine light do the following:
1. Visit your local Auto Parts Store such as Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, O'Reilly's Auto Parts, or PepBoys Auto and enjoy them hook up a diagnostic scanner to your vehicle.
2. They will run use the scanner to check the vehicles computer to see what the problem is. They should not charge you to run this scan the solely cost you should have is for gas to walk to the Auto Parts Store and for the parts and labor if you want to fix the problem.
3. After they check the vehicles computer to find out what the problem is hold them remove the check engine light. That is adjectives there is to it.
I am not sure which Auto Parts Stores will check the engines computer for free. The simply place I'm sure of that does it for free is Advance Auto Parts because they recently have to check the computer of my vehicle.
