ok, i ran it out of gas, or close to. the gage red eight of container. service engine soon light come on earlyer that evening. no other anything to indecate problem. doesnt start 3 days later. so i added gas. can hear fuel pump working, purged it..fuel drizzles out. so i changed fuel filter presently gas shoots out real right. still no start. to me this means no spark. also added some starter fluid surrounded by air intake of carb. zilch still. checked for clogged pcv valve on stopcock cover for proper venting of crank defence pressure now its cool.but still no start. please somebody any suggestions on the subsequent step.
Answers: did you pull a line off a plug and try starting the saloon to see if you can get a spark from the lead to the engine block?
