i want to splice the vacuum line for my '99 civic lx to install a vacuum guage? i hear im supposed to splice the vacuum smudge that comes from the intake manifold but how do i find the queue? can someone describe it?
Answers: its rubber, it's black in color, and the diameter is something like 1/4" outside diameter
spend $20 and invest in a haynes booklet for your make and model...aside from the fantastic electrical system and vacuum line diagrams the encyclopaedia will save you hundreds if thousands in dealer/labor costs!
within general you want to use the lowest vacuum row on the carburetor closest to the manifold as it have the most suction
