How do i fix a cars hot radiator?

my car a 97 conformity, had the check engine street lamp on, so i saw my radiator was doomed to failure, i replaced it and the check engine light turned bad, but there is still vapor coming out of my investigational radiator.

i think i did everything correctly but obyously i didnt.
-i flushed the out-of-date radiator's coolant/antifreeze
-i removed all the electrical wirering and the 2 hoses
-i took out the behind the times radiator and reconnected the new one indistinguishable way beside new coolant/antifreeze.

and it still have vapor coming out of my radiator and some coolant out of my radiator cap and yes my sou`wester is put on right i actually bought a contemporary one and put it same thing happen.

my temperature guage arrow merely goes up 30% not even partially way so i rly dont know what is wrong. a lil back please :(

My sports car fuel pump broke on...

The thermostat is shot. Just follow the return hose to the engine block. The thermostat Is behind that housing.

I want to know more restructured design...

If pressure is coming out of the radiator and it is not overheating later you may have a doomed to failure head gasket.

More: I thought roughly a bad thermostat but if that be the case afterwards the temp gage would indicate overheating.

How can I gain better gas mileage...

Answers:    If it's steaming, then there's a seep somewhere - you should never see steam from the radiator under typical circumstances. Maybe one of the hoses has a small split. or possibly your boss gasket is bad, and you're pushing sopme of your compression into the cooling system - the extra pressure could really cause a slick somewhere. And if the engine is running too cold, it's probably caused by a thermostat that have jammed in the "open" position. But don't trust your rate - get a mechanic to check the actual warmth. My wife's car solely goes up almost 1/3 of the way, but the actual temp of the coolant is considered regular. Gauges are only fitting for a rough estimate - don't use them for accurate measurement.

Good luck!
