Run your telecommunication to a switched on(energizes when the key is on) power source in your fuse box. Use a assessment light to find one. Run the other wire (for illumination) to an instrument lights wire(one that is energized when you turn the lights on) and the other on to a good ground. Make sure the assess goes off when you turn bad the ignition or you will run down the battery. That's it.
