How risky is it if my volts drop when I'm within stopped surrounded by traffic beside my lights, wipers and kiln on?

I had put a 200a Powermaster alt. contained by with that paraphernalia which turned out to be defective because it seriously drained my battery, so I swapped the stock alt. wager on on. It's running fine now, but I notice that my voltage dropped considerably at a red light near my lights, wipers and heater on. When the hurricane lantern turned green and my alt. started spinning again, I was stern to normal. Is this terrifying and would a stronger alt. back on counter that. That's why I threw an upgraded alt. contained by with those pulleys. For immediately, I'm using the stock until I get the alt. issue settled.

I hold a '96 chevrolet pickup query?

Answers:    When your engine is idle, the alternator is not producing much current. I assume you are running a big sound system, lights, appurtenances, etc while waiting for the light. Plus it is running the engine. Who know what special electronics are on here.

The alternator can';t handle it and probably the mobile is compensating for this demand.

Purchase a sophisticated output alternator, that's all. Or purchase another battery-operated and run them together. Or don't stop at lights. Keep the engine runninging at a higher RPM

How much would it cost to paint...

I don't know if it is precarious, but over time it may put a strain on your battery, which may shorten the go of it. I would have the alt checked simply to make sure it is putting out correctly.
