Reinstalling Lower globe joint?

Answers:    octane rating depends on your compression and your ignition finance. If the manufacturer say that you can use a range of grades, it ability that the ECU will automatically retard your ignition when using a lower grade, thus giving you smaller quantity power as well. But if the factory owner recommends individual one grade, next stick to it.

My '01 Ford Focus only uses regular gas - using a greater octane only make it hesitate and splutter, since the compression is honourably low, and the ignition timing won't/can't advance far ample to effectively use a higher octane. On the other foot, my wife's car have a supercharger and requires 93 octane - any less, and the sophisticated compression can cause the fuel to burn back the ignition sparks (called "detonation" or "knocking".) This can quite literally blow holes within the pistons.
