Answers: The key secret for doing this is to be organised correctly past starting the job. You will requirement two good axel stands for the front wheel, ideally a small trolley jack to remove the gear box, a clutch alignment tool and a haynes manual to show the correct location of the bolts.
The correct agency to do it is as follows:-
1) Remove the battery connections.
2) Jack the van as glorious as possible on the front and insert the axel stands.
3) Remove the propshaft from the gear box, split the union united and leave the output coupling from the gear box contained by place. If you remove it the gear box oil will seep out.
4) Place the trolley jack under the gear box and pilfer the strain of the weight.
5) Remove the starter motor, clutch cable, gear stick.
6) Remove adjectives of the bolts holding the bell housing in place.
7) When you are 100% sure that adjectives the bolts are removed, use a flat head screw driver to split the gear box from the engine.
8) The gearbox/bell housing will have need of to move some way backwards since it clears the gear box output shaft and clutch assembly.
9) Some times you need to tilt the engine upwards at the front to allow the bell housing to clear the body, To do this use a coup¨¦ jack.
10) Once the gear box is clear of the engine, use the trolley jack and brute strength to man handle the gear box out from below the van.
11) Strip the bolts holding the clutch pressure plate from the engine fly wheel.
12) Remove the pressure plate and clutch plate from the engine.
13) On the gear box, remove the thrust carriage from the clutch disengaging arm.
14) Give the input shaft on the gear box a good verbs with sand newspaper. Inspect the fly wheel on the engine to fashion sure it is not scored or burned.
15) Replace the thrust carriage, re-assemble the pressure plate/clutch plate. Before fully tightening the bolts to the pressure plate use the clutch alignment tool.
