All you should have need of is an HEI distributor. The ignition coil is in the distributor cap on those. Stick the untried distributor in and connect any vacuum hoses you have. The old-fashioned power wire going to your old coil will want the resistor removed and connected to the HEI distributor so you get full battery voltage to it.
