I'm have a saloon problem?

When I start my car it shakes. The check engine light is flickering on and stale (mostly off). I give it gas and it doesn't go. Ocassionaly contained by does, but I have to floor it. I'm still driving it around. I replaced the fuel filter, and it worked for a few days. But now it's going on all over again. Does anyone have an belief of what it could be?

I agree near Will S! Even if the Check Engine light is not on at the time you get it checked, the code will be stored contained by the computers memory. Do not get it checked by AutoZone...their scan tool is vauge, and can not pick up all codes. Most dealerships will not charge to hold the code checked if you decide to have it repaired near (hmm.Saturn guys, trained by Saturn.to fix a Saturn.not a hard choice sometimes). If you decide to not catch it fixed by the dealer, they will charge you a small fee, but at least possible you will have in writing exactly what the problem is, and most dealerships will credit that excise back to the repair if you bring it back next to be fixed.
