You might sometimes smell some burning from the pad breaking in. Hopefully you broke the pad in properly, otherwise your brakes won't ending anywhere near as long as they should. Proper break contained by procedures consist of accelerating to roughly 30, then slowing to an almost stop, next accelerating to just about 40, slowing to an almost stop, etc...About 10 or so times. Also, a tip...When you are sitting at a light, don't vacate your foot on the brake... Brake pads and rotors, when hot, will "bond", creating hot spots on your rotors, which don't brake as all right.
