I bought a 2002 Camry 4cyl. W/ 130k miles on it 6 months ago. What grease should I use?

I was using 10w40 within it for the last two grease change. Manual said to use 5w30. What should I use near a car that have 130k miles on it. Synthetic oil 10w30 or 10w40? Regular grease? Synthetic blend? Oh yeah I just have new spout stem seals done. I live surrounded by California. Thanks

I own freshly put 10 pounds of...

Answers:    High mileage engines have more clearance contained by the bearings than current engines, so a thicker (higher viscosity) oil is better.

When the entrepreneur recommends 5w30 grease, it is best for most situations. Since you have a resourcefully worn engine, increase the viscosity.

Whether you think synthetic is worth the expense is up to you. You should not switch stern and forth between regular, synthetic blend or pure synthetic as they do not mix well together.

For 130k miles, I would recommend 10w50 within temperatures above 20 degree F.

What would inflict low fuel guardrail pressure...

I'd go next to the 5w30
