I enjoy a 1997 Toyota Camry beside 110k miles. When applying the brakes,?

I have a 1997 Toyota Camry with 110k miles. When applying the brakes, I hold to put a lot pressure on the pedal. My wife told me she saw a leak on the ground but do not know where on earth it came from. I checked for leaks but did not see any. I check the brake fluid reservoir and the splash is still between the minimum and max line. Can the fluid come from the brake booster? If so, can the leak stop? I also did a booster question paper. Everything was normal except when I depressed the brake, stopped the engine, and held the pedal for 30 second, the pedal rose. Thank you.

Sounds resembling your brake booster may have an internal leak, that would be a vacuum seep inside the booster.
sounds like a booster problem, its not going to leak fluid . it is controlled by engine vac.

could be the booster or the master cyl which is in front of the booster you do have profusely of miles and they dont last forever.have it checked you could enjoy bad fluid the new rule is flush the lines every year beside new fluid but if you have a bleak something get it fix first good luck

enjoy you checked the break pads?
its either the fluid, or you entail to bleed the lines, or the break pads.

good luck
if you hold brake fluid in the booster, the master cylinder is leaking into at hand from the rear seal of the master.
while the motor is running, pull the big hose (vacuum line) from the booster and make sure it sucking concrete through that line.
The brake pedal coming up when holding the pedal after you shut off the motor is normal. that is the vacuum bleading past its sell-by date making the pedal hard as a rock to push.
If you have strong suction on that big hose going to the booster, that rules that out. a obedient way to tell if that booster is doomed to failure is when car is running, slam down on the brake pedal and let rotten. Does the brake pedal return back to the top fast (like normal) or does it rob a second. other words, if you release the brake pedal, does it come back up with your foot or does it come hindmost up slowly. Thats a good test if a booster is fault.
Also, if a booster is faulting, the brake pedal will have alot of resistance when pushing down. making it push slower downward.
Brake Master Cylinder is leak some fluid into the Booster and it sounds like the Diaphram in the Booster is Bad, Replace. You'll obligation to Rebuild the Master Cylinder. Vacuum Leaks is what is causing the Engine to Die.

Answers:    Have you been losing brake fluid out of the reservoir under the bonnet? If the brake fluid have not been dropping fast I would be getting the brakes checked. One lass that I know have one of these cars and the front disk pads were a terribly hard compound and so I replaced them with a different standard set of disk pads which fixed the problem.

As for the leak, if you are not losing brake fluid and if you are using the airconditioning nearby will be a small puddle of water form at the back of the motor where on earth the condensation form the evaporator in the airconditioning system (much like condensation within a fridge)
