Answers: Here's how GM wiper systems work. On the wiper that's not working there will be a raise plastic or metal cap covering the lower center pivot point of the wiper arm. If you're not sure what you're looking for turn on the wiper blades and pick out the point that's the center axis or exact piviot point of the wiper blade near the particularly bottom.
Turn the wipers off. If the dead non-working blade is not at the bottom verbs it down till it closely resembles the parked (down ) position. Pry off the small raised sunhat at the center of the piviot point with a sharp small screw driver and stick it in your pocket. You'll mind a metric nut under the cap. It's 13 or 14 mm contained by size. Simply tighten it up turning a wernch or socket and ratchet clockwise.
You're all done! Good work.
GM wiper arms work by two frictional surfaces only. No splines or keyways. This is done so that when your wiper arms are frozen on the winshield and are accidently are turned on the arms, drive spindles, linkage or wiper motor will not burn out.
