It seems to have throttle fill & runs rough. I inspected the mass air flow sensor and cleaned it with electrical contact solution. I presently have an engine light & a wrench lit up within the dash. Does anyone have any planning before I go win a code diagnosis. I just
changed the oil & filter, has to be simple right? 1; That sensor you Cleaned with Contact Cleaner is what turned the Light on, Replace it.
2; Rough; Tune-up and/or Clogged Injector(s).
Are you sure you used the correct oil and filter for your truck, perchance you damaged something while you were varying it, recheck your work and have the codes scanned
ok you would have to be realy dumb to crinkle this bad but.my friend took his f150 in for an grease change and after noticed it be running rough and making a strange noise. turns out the oil move shop put in 9 liters of oil. luckily we caught it soon plenty and didnt wreck anything.
near are a few little things that you can check yourself.1st check to see that you didn't unhook a wire plug in the rear of the air cleaner, this would be an air censor.subsequent check your owners manual,on some vehicles, you hold to reset when an oil change and/or nouns filter has been changed.if its still running rough, afterwards a diagnostic is in order.
Answers: Did you unhook the battery up to that time cleaning the MAF? If not you've probabally damaged it.

Those are easier said than done to screw up, yes it's an easy vehicle to work on.
DO NOT earnings for a code reading. Get it done at a reputable shop or get your code read (a) an auto parts store that has an "OBDII" code reader. It sounds approaching a coincidence.
NOTE: The dipsticks on those are miscalibrated & Owner's manuals wrong. It says 6.5qts grease on an oil & filter change. NO. 6qts & no more. It's full when it read in the middle of the reader on the dipstick.
The above info is correct! I thought is would be mass air flow sensor but you said you checked that!
