First of all my vehicle leaks grease from the engine not the oil jar.. what could this be??
Second its using way too much gas.. I can put gas and travel four blocks to pick up my kids at school and it shows that it used some.. which to me it shouldnt show it even moved basically by going four blocks...
Third is the suspension or something.. I need an alignment but the mechanic told me I cant obtain an alignment without the upper control A arm or something resembling that being replaced... but presently my car pulls to the passenger side really doomed to failure... I have stopped driving it because i dont want to mess the engine up or my wheel to fall bad while im picking up my kids from school... lol... HELP ME PLEASE!
Oh and by the method.. It is a 1995 Grand Am GT
Answers: Without seeing the car, I can not detail you where the grease leaks are, but the first piece to look at is the valve cover gaskets! They are not that expensive to replace and do tend to go amiss!
The control arm should be replaced and the car aligned. Part of your gas mileage problem may be related to the front wrap up being opening out of line!
As to the gas mileage, are you base this on fuel gauge reading? The fuel gauge is not an accurate test of fuel use. To find out if you have a fuel mileage problem, you would stipulation to fill the container, and drive the car. Note the mileage when you imbue up, and when you need gas again, register that mileage. Subtract the starting mileage from the ending, and that will furnish you the distance traveled!
Fill the car again and data the amount of fuel needed! Divide the distance by the number of gallons used to get your miles per gallon amount! That car should draw from somewhere in the 18-25 MPG stock with surrounded by town driving. If you let the coup¨¦ idle to thaw up, or while waiting for your children, it will be less because you are burning fuel and not going anywhere!
help yourself to it in to dealership and trade it surrounded by save you money within long run and you will have a unsullied car
