I necessitate Volvo assistance or conceivably its purely a supporting problem? What else could be the problem or is he pulling my leg?

I have a 83 Volvo DL Wagon. After I bought it, it started to run funny. By funny I be determined, for the first few minutes(3-4) it would run great, then it would start to vacant differently, and then after it get warm (10+ min) it would any start idling thoroughly erratically or stall all together if run long satisfactory. It eventually sent the motor to go unpromising. Well the guy I bought it from is fixing it(at no cost to me) and he has put on masses new parts. Such as a contemporary timing belt, air mass meter, dampen pump, re-wired the wiring harness(the wires be melted and raw), different coil, spakplugs and spakplug wires, a new engine(an 86 from a sedan). This have all be quite a process and I've asked him if its the intake system (which he used the behind the times one instead of replacing it with the unsullied engine) or a vacuum problem as there might be a slick somewhere. He attests to "NO" on these. He said he fixed the fuel pump last and that seem to have the biggest impact. Any relieve? Am I right about the outdated intake? Is he a fake

Does it cost smaller amount to replace...

Answers:    that much work into an elder car? He would own been better rotten buying you a new one! If you seize it back and it still doesn't run, next you'll know.
