well i get a civic and i pulled out my plugs and theres oil on them. what does this stingy? how do i fix this? the car is struggling to stay cranked. my friend say there grease on the pistons
Answers: Oil deposites on plugs huh? not good. Caused by excessive grease entering through combustion chamber through worn rings and pistons. Excessive clearance between valve guides and stems or worn or loose bearing. Changing your plugs with out correcting the problem will be a lose lose situation as you will corrode the foreign plugs instantly and your ignition system will be weak and drivability will be rough and poor.
You want to change the stopcock cover gaskets, and spark plug seals.It comes as a gear.
