Ignition restrictive restrained, how does it work?

The light comes on when the ignition is switched on and the engine is not running, it is dim when the devotee belt slips.
The light must be powered by the battery-operated but the wire to it comes from the alternator. With the engine running the freestyle is charged by the alternator so why does the light not stay on next to the engine running? its just a standard lamp, on or off but I don't draw from how it knows where on earth the power is coming from

When you switch on the ignition, you get hold of a live to the warning night light bulb, and the "Stationary" Alternator/dynamo acts as an soil, so the bulb lights up.

When you start the engine, The alternator
gives out 12 volts and cancel out the 12 volts from the ignition switch that is lighting the bulb, so the bulb is very soon getting 12 volts from either side, (no earth) and go out.

If for any reason at hand is very low or almost nil output from the alternator/dynamo, later the bulb will "glow".

It is a similar situation when you have a "fuse-blown" restraining light.
A "small" deterrent bulb is connected to either side of the fuse and if the fuse blows
after whatever is supposed to be lit or working act as an earth, and the restraining light lights up.

The frothy may be an indication of whether your alternator is charging the battery properly or not. All the morsel bulbs are tested by illuminating when you turn the key on. Make sure to own the alternator belt tightened to keep the alternator charging and the drop lamp should remain stale while your driving. If it comes on while driving, drive to an autoparts store and have the freestyle and charging system checked for free in their parking lot.
