I have a toyota avensis and locked it on friday next to the key fob, this morning (monday) i tried to unlock near the keyfob and nothing happen, i went and get the spare keyfob and still nothing. I can start the car using a knob and start it but the alarm keeps going stale. please can anyone help?
Answers: As for the push button fob failure you will inevitability to see the dealer. Most manufacturer have a push button sequence that you can perform to disable the siren beside the correct key surrounded by the ignition. It will be explained in the owners guide under the switch fob listing or the remote entry information bank or the alarm system. On mine you had to cycle the push button 5 times on/off,on/off etc in demand to disable the siren if the key fob suddenly slipshod with the alarm activate.
Could be a fault beside the sensors. I had alike problem with my Rover not long. We got it checked out but it still kept going bad so in the ending we just disconnected it. Nobody does anything when someone's alarm is going rotten anyway and if it gets nick that's what I've got insurance for!

My vehicle will not shift into reverse?
