I have a flipside 300ex brake caliper and the brake pads are the semi metalic pad made for this model. Even with the cylinder completly widen, there is no room for the pad and disk. The one pad go back next to the cylinder and is fine. The one closest to the outer wall is cramed in when disk is inserted. The mounts for the caliper are on the other side and nearby is no clearence. Any Ideas
Answers: Those calipers need to be turned surrounded by clockwise to retract the piston. This is because of the parking brake. You need a special tool to do this. Check your local auto parts store to see if they can loan you the tool to use. Autozone let you borrow tools.
Good luck!
