hey guys i got a query for you. i installed my CAI today and it runs like shite for resembling 10 mins. then its fine. it will rust rough (rpms up and down) I do have a CEL or (check engine light) ... do i call for a new mass airflow sensor or somthing ,whats wrong? please give support to

its a 2005 ss/sc cobalt i verbs the throtle body all the time you wont find a cleaner engine. everything is hooked up right its a cheap ebay CAI ... a tech told me i needed my mass airflow sensor reprogramed or simply to get an aftermarket but ive never hear of such a thing.

Answers: Well I get a chevy Cobalt ls and put in an IJEN cold nouns intake and never had a problem. Pop the hood, remove the intake adjectives together, Run your engine but leave it parked, it should run fine in need it, if it does then it definetly is your CAI. If that doesn't work later it could possibly be your sensor. Buy your self quality products on a PS write down, for the long run "You get what you recompense for"
My car form that rough feeling rpm be idle feel when I bumped into another saloon and crushed my stock air flow box.
Take it to Autozone or something and hold them hook up a code scanner to it. They do it for free and they will be able to report you what sensor triggered the engine light.
You won't inevitability to change a MAF sensor for simply an intake but you could have knock a wire loose.
