I have a rover 214 and simply got mot'ed final month. now i go and get the occasional smoke out the engine, the water constantly requests filling up as emptys inwardly a 2mile drive and now i own been told the grease is all creamy. is this the pave the way gasket? if so is it an expensive job to replace or would it be more worth my while gettin a hot car?
Answers: It most credible is the head gasket. It could also be a cracked skipper or block, or a bad intake gasket, but the probability are that it is the head gasket!
You do not read out how old the vehicle is, or the mileage, so I can not pass an intelligent recommendation as to repair/ replacement of the vehicle!
yes-it would come across to be the head gasket!as for should you repair or not you own to get a quote for the work and see how it compares to the helpfulness of your car and the cost of buying a untried car!
