Is this a balljoint problem or a CV reciprocated problem?

I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. After a recent road trip into the mountains, the moved out front suspension began making a pop commotion every time I brake suddenly, take past its sell-by date quickly, shift over a speed bump and alot of times while turning left.

A bushing around the CV combined nearest the tire is "dry-rotted" and in necessitate of replacement.

So, is this a CV halfshaft replacement or a balljoint replacement?

i would have to voice balljoint. i've never heard of a cv axle popping unless you be turning and putting it into a bind

Will outside coup¨¦ fire wreckage nouns?

This could be the cv shaft or ball communal as you say.

But could also be a tie rod termination - or link.

better find to a suspension shop pronto

What Wheels would suit my coup¨¦?

Answers:    the symptoms you describe are signs of a bad cv collective . and if the boot you is dry rotted as you say it is than it is more than expected the cv joint is impossible. that clicking or popping noise is the cv reciprocal
