Removed the gas reservoir and replaced the filter on the inlet tube, and this solved my problem

I would start it fine, and it would die when I put it into gear.
I would recommend have your trans looked at, and possibly the fluid changed. Have a mechanic look at the filter first, but I doubt that's the problem
