Is this wrong?

i took my car to my local peugeot dealership last weekend and have 2 new tyres fitted. I asked them if while they could put the new tyres on the support and put the back tyres on the front, they did this and never said anything. I got home and took the motor out on the motorway...it felt wrong when i got to 75 mph it started to snake really weakly. i took the car home and called them up. When i took it posterior to them to check it out they said they never balanced the front wheels because they didnt fit the tyres. I asked why they didnt detail me at the time and they coulnt offer me an explanation.

They gave me the vehicle back in an unroadworthy condiiton and i could enjoy had a serious accident.

Was it wrong of them to do this and can i do anything more or less it??

I think it is wrong, They should own balanced the two wheels that they put on the front, regardless of who fitted them, not exceptionally good service if you ask me, you probably won't get much out of them, a moment ago a balance if you complain to the manager ample, maybe next time don't steal it to a dealer, take it to a Tyre shop, they tend to look after their customers a bit better :o)

Problem beside Power Steering - Ford Fiesta...

Answers:    You can't do anything about it. They did exactly as you asked. They charge for balancing tyres and you didn't ask them to set off the tyres before putting them on the front. Usually new tyres would be put on the front for best steering and opposite them would stop the vibration that you described. I am also assuming that you didn't ask them to check the tyre pressures to make sure that they be the correct pressure for the front.

A good workshop should have double-checked beside you because of the circumstances but they were doing as you asked. If I thought that what was asked of by a customer be not what I recommended I would let the customer know what I thought and my reasoning as to why. ... Sorry but I can see both sides
