My 94 Jeep Charo. gives out from time to time. Its happened 3 times after I've chock-a-block it up with gas. I insert the key contained by, turn it half way (this is when my gauge light up and radio comes on), then when I push down my clutch and turn the push button further, everything just goes silent until I turn it put a bet on half way. It make me wonder what it could be, because its fine one min., then I come back after 3mins. of fueling and it wont start. Now I can pop start it, but it lately gets old after a few times. Now I do enjoy a after purchase alarm system that was on it when I got it(from previous owner), could that be draining the freestyle while I'm not driving in it?

Answers: There's lots of things that could be going wrong here.
1 - If you have to depress your clutch past your engine will start, then there is a switch in attendance that allows your engine's starter to work when the clutch is depressed and will not allow the starter to work when it is not depressed. If that switch is at all faulty, consequently your starter might not work properly.
2 - The starter itself may have a problem. The filling of the gas container sounds coincidental... your starter is essentially an electric motor that turns your engine over, making it eventually run on its own... electric motors can, when they stop spinning, stop in a position that makes an electrical nouns nearly impossible to make... not being a mechanic myself, I'm not sure of the slang... but, suffice to say, if the problem is intermittant, it could be caused by the starter itself. The solution is a clean (on a '94 new = rebuilt)starter. If you give a shop your antediluvian starter, they will give you a better price on a rebuilt one.
3 - Alarm systems can disable a starter. They are of late about all different, and can without question fail after time. If it was an aftermarket product, try have it totally disconnected, NOT just turned off. This have the advantage of being a high-speed and cheap solution... if that's the problem.
4 - You mention that you think the battery is draining. Do you own to "pop" start it... what I'd call catching it in gear... after respectively time this happens? Or does it sometimes start on the key? If it starts on the switch, the battery is not discharging. If you have to arrest it in gear to start it... your battery may be discharged to the point it will lantern your dashboard... but not turn over the starter... if your battery is not charging, then the problem is the alternator. Yes, but if it's the alternator... later you'd get a red light on your career shaped like a battery showing up you read out? Well, yes, 99% of the time... on my '93 Camry... I had a similar problem... and it was a impossible connection on the alternator... the bad nouns resulted in my battery not charging AND the little red mobile light not coming on... seems the flex running that light passed through the same plug where on earth I had a bad nouns! Buy a voltmeter and test your battery yourself. They are cheap, and come next to instructions... engine off, your battery should put out around 12.5 volts, present or take a few tenths... engine on, it should be between 13.5 and 14 volts because your alternator is pushing a few more volts through your battery to preserve it topped up.
Electrical problems can be some of the hardest problems to diagnose in a vehicle, and consequently the most expensive. The best thing you can do is arm yourself beside as much knowledge as you can... and be prepared to spend what it takes. If you ending up with an easy fix... breathe a sigh of nouns... you're lucky!

you might try checking your battery terminal connections and make sure they are tight and not corroded. Loose connections regularly cause the same problem. The aftermarket alarm could be draining it, but if it one and only happens once in a while, I doubt it is it. You could other take it out, or unhook it to check. It also could be a bad starter, starter relay or starter solenoid. Have you tried bypassing the starter relay or solenoid when this have happened?
