i have a 1993 mercury majestic marquis LS and recently the engine have been starting to clink and ping along beside rpm's it wasnt bad at first, but presently its non stop. even when idling its constantly making a metal on metal contact nouns. whats wrong? should i just unwanted items the car and verbs?
Answers: Sounds like a rod knock or some other catastrophic engine dud. I would strip the car of adjectives parts you could sell on Ebay and cast-offs it, as the value of that sports car with a blown motor is pretty much nought. Good luck.
