Manual Shifting?

Okay, I've read many answers but it just confuses me even more. When I come into a slow traffic, where on earth everyone is going slowly, I step on the clutch partially and gas a little bit. I do this while within a slow traffic for a period of time (about 5mph) So this is considered as riding the clutch? Because I got my vehicle for about a month and I'm really scared that I might wear out my clutch.

My motor wont start when it's cold?

My motor check ingine reading light on..?

this is indeed riding the clutch, and will rationale un-nessecary wear to your friction plate and possibly even the clutch springs and cable. Better to put it in first and use idle speed to inch forward. Also, it's ALWAYS better to make tracks more room in-between cars so you do less stop-and-go. (but not satisfactory to let morons cut you off)

one rule to remember...when you want to go slower, don't step on the gas

Help!! Heat sensor!?

Answers:    If you reflect on that is bad try driving a ten speed 18 wheeler through slow traffic. Yes even Truck Drivers next to 10, 13, or 18 speed transmissions frequently coast to a stop with the clutch depressed halfway. We are even qualified to ride the clutch to help slow us down when backing up. I would not verbs so much about it as the clutch as it will eventually need to be accustomed and rebuilt sometime down the road. I would place more focus on safe driving.
