Mazda 6 turbo diesel power problem?

I have a 2002 mazda 6 2ltr turbo diesel which have been low surrounded by power reciently I checked the intercooler about 6 months ago, as when it be raining or there be water directed into it the power increased dramatically at the time the intercooler looked within poor shape full of hardened dirt and alot of fins rusted and broken off i cleaned it out and for a short while the power be normal this did stop after roughly speaking a month and the power was again cut down. Due to the cost of a unmarked intercooler or refurbishment i just lived near it. Now for no reason at adjectives the power is back almost adjectives of the time but when I start off wether the engine is cold or heat up the power is very much down much more than anytime previously this does clear (2 mins) and sometimes doing a tour the car really dies contained by power so bad that I hold to go down a gear and get going till it clears there is no specific reason for this to happen eg. weather conditions etc. lately random really, any info since i hook up to diagnostics?

Answers: This isn't much of an answer, but my dad has the exact same problem beside his Mazda 6. I'm sorry that I have no diagnosis for the problem, but it's one that these cars are prone to.

Perhaps you are getting some intermittent injector misfires.... Try the hookup, after ask for info...
