hi
to make a 25:1 mixture for 4 litres of fuel its 160ml of 2 stroke oil but i accedentily put 170ml within the fuel.
How much fuel should i put in the re-correct the mix?? Is this on a math test? go next to ounces and gallons.
I really dont think you have to much to verbs about, your engine may run slightly rich but I doubt you will even notice that. No spoil will happen.
170ml is close enough. Don't worry in the order of it.
If 2 stroke gas is vanished to sit long enough the oil will separate and is why most 2 stroke brush-cutters and outboard motors play up. The grease and fuel separate and the fuel evaporates off leaving a lofty concentrate of oil which will gum up the spark plug and carburettor.
Why 2 stroke fuel should be turned of or disconnected and the engine restarted and allowed to totally run out of fuel each time you use them

Answers: You're only stale by 6% on the oily side (23.5:1). Wont hurt anything. May create a bit more smoke.
Or, you can add 1/4L fuel to bring it fund to 25:1.

the 25:1 mixture is a guideline to go by. When you stir to refill the fuel can it is never totally empty and nobody ever bothers just about what is left in the can.If 2 stroke gas is vanished to sit long enough the oil will separate and is why most 2 stroke brush-cutters and outboard motors play up.
