More linkage probs. Help!?

I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 flipside wheel drive. Okay I wrote surrounded by yesterday about the gear shifter had it and my truck being stuck within 1st Gear. Everyone was right and it be the linkage that was knock loose. Now the gears are working, but I enjoy two reverses. The top reverse act similar to park, but I cannot start the car nearby. I can only shut the motor off within I have to start contained by neutral. The second reverse act likes the reverse it should be. All other gears work fine and the truck is drivable, but I am wondering what is cause this and is it leading to a bigger issue? Also if you can offer me price ranges of the damages I would be grateful. Thanks in mortgage.

Answers: 1st and reverse are on the same linkage... you requirement to disconnect it again and put the gear shift lever in first gear position thentake the linkage on the nouns and push it all the mode forward then hook up the linkage.
