Motor locked up?

I have a Ford Escort LX 97. I not here the dome light turned on for 8 hrs and when I tried to start my sports car back it worked but I needed a couple of tries (so the battery-operated was low I presume).
I drove for 2hrs and the year after I couldn't start my car.
Jumpstarting worked fine. I get my battery tested and it said battery-operated perfect.

Before forgetting the pallid on I never had any problems and the battery-operated is 8 months old. Then I changed battery-operated, and two days after I couldn't jump start the coup¨¦ again. Did I damage something?

The adjectives situation seems grotesque because it started as a light draining out the freestyle, then I thought the alternator be not charging the battery but the battery-operated was charged. Now it does not jumpstart at adjectives.

I brought it to a car repairer and he said my motor is locked up and necessarily I have to cash car. Is it possible? How could I enjoy driven till home with a locked engine?
Seems the mechanic is not cheating me since he said better not to spend money on that.

Thanks

Answers:    I would hold someone get lower than the car and see if you can turn the crankshaft pulley. If you can turn it a few turns the engine is not locked up. If it doesn't turn at adjectives, then it is.

the individual way for that to come to pass is coencidence, I've never heard of a locked engine he may enjoy mis diagnosed, you should pull the freestyle out of another car and see if that works
