it goes on when back brake is pressed, but not when front brake is. and it doesn't even jump on when like it normally does when its of late running.
take off it as it is, cos when your out scratching & generaly use your front anyway, riders behind u will reflect u r a nutta going in to bends fast short breaking, but don't let this tip get in the region of ok?
if you ahve checked the bulb it is a fuse but even if the bulb looks good it may still have a short surrounded by it so try replacing it and get back to me if it does fix it and if it doesn't i will look up a diagram and enlighten you where you need to look subsequent
You have possibly two problems. One, the source it does not come on when you put your running lights on is that one of the filaments in the bulb is desperate. It's a dual filament bulb.The other could be the front brake switch. It's located on the handle bar elegant where the lever pivots. It may just be out of adjustment.
Sounds like something went wrong when you fixed the loose flex. Giving you a great answer will need more info (is the front brake hydraulic or mechanical?).
Check out what you did to repair the loose telecommunication... If you had to disassemble the case you probably tightened something too much or caught something within there. If it's a mechanical brake you may hold kinked the brake cable or loosened it up to much during disassembly (mechanical levers are adjustable via long nuts that surround the cable as it enters the handpiece)
