Answers:    First of adjectives, you shouldn't be able to smell the gas minus removing one of the fuel lines. You may have a fuel leach somewhere that is preventing proper pressure from building up. Next, verbs out one of the spark plugs and reattach the cable to it. Have an assistant attempt to start the car and study for spark at the plug. If there is no spark, possible problems may be: Ignition Control Module, Ignition Coil or Crankshaft Position Sensor. If nearby is spark, chances are that any the cylinders are not getting fuel, the engine timing is off, or low compression.

Without self there it's impossible to properly diagnose a sports car. People here can walk you through steps that might serve you find the cause of the problem but it's no game for taking it into a shop and having it properly looked at. If you want, post the results of what you find from doing what I've told you and I or someone else can give a hand narrow the possibilities down even more.

What's an engine crankcase breather row?

It could be the fuel injectors leak. Take the car to the shop it is hazardous to drive with the gas smell. It could shut in on fire.
